Hotels accept hold reservations in order to block the availability for a specific period of time. It gives a specific duration of time for the guest to make the payments while they are finalizing their stay/travel and confirming the reservation.
With this improvement, we give our guests greater flexibility by letting them know how much amount they need to pay and before which date in order to confirm their reservations. We will also allow guests to pay via payment links for their reservation and confirm it. This will be available to them easily in the same email which they have received from the hotel.
To use the payment links and collect payments from the guests, the hotel must use the payment gateway services. The “Pay now” option will be available in the hold booking template for all the hotels using the payment services.
This will allow the guest to make the payments easily and at the same time, the hotel also will not have to communicate with the guest and will reduce their communication in collecting the payments. Reach out to your eZee representative to know more about this.
