In the past, handling group reservations at hotels meant creating invoice numbers for each room in the group. To avoid this extra work, the hotel team had to turn off the “Generate invoice number on checkout” option for every room booking. This process was time-consuming and not ideal, especially in India where hotels preferred having just one invoice number for the entire group.
We are excited to introduce a significant enhancement to eZee Absolute – a feature designed to streamline group reservation invoicing. With the new “Single Invoice number for Groups” option, the hotel can effortlessly generate a single invoice number for the entire group reservation, eliminating the need to generate individual invoice numbers for each booking within the group.
How It Works?
- Access the eZee Absolute configuration panel and divert to the settings.
- Under the settings menu, you will find an option to generate only one invoice number for the groups.
Below is the screenshot showing the option that we have introduced which has to be configured one time and after that the system will only generate one invoice number for group bookings.
