We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to our channel manager and PMS, designed to streamline communication between hotels and Expedia. Effective immediately, sending important information regarding no-shows, cancellations, and stay changes directly to Expedia is now possible, ensuring accurate reservation management and avoiding unnecessary commissions.
In the past, hotels had to navigate the Expedia extranet to manually mark reservation status updates such as modifications, cancellations, or no-shows. This process was time-consuming and cumbersome, often leading to errors or delays in conveying the correct information to Expedia.
With our latest enhancement, we are simplifying this process for our valued hotel users. They can now conveniently mark no-shows, cancellations, or modifications directly through our channel manager, eliminating the need to access the Expedia extranet separately. This streamlined workflow not only saves valuable time for our users but also ensures seamless and accurate information transmission from our channel manager to Expedia.
To provide this enhanced functionality, we have integrated the option to send notifications to Expedia within both our channel manager and PMS (Property Management System). This integration empowers our users to effortlessly update reservation status and relay crucial information to Expedia, all within their existing workflow.
