We have added a setting “Exempt Tax when room is sold as complimentary” in Configuration which is getting reflected on the front office walkin screen.
eA Configuration :
Settings >> General >> Check In/Reservation Settings
The setting “Exempt Tax when room is sold as complimentary” is enabled by default. It also manages audit trails.
Earlier, “Default Reservation Screen” setting is provided in the Mandatory Information section. Now, the setting is moved in new section and label name is “Additional Reservation/Walkin Settings”

If “Sell as complementary” is enabled, it will automatically activate Tax Exempt ID and disable + icon. so it can not remove tax exemption.
