We have introduced on dispatch notification event for delivery order type where a notification will be sent to the guest when the order is dispatched or the driver is assigned to a delivery order.
Below is the steps are shown for configuring the notification.
Step 1:
Setting up a template for the notification
Navigate to: Back Office > Setting > Email/SMS Template > Add Template
Step 2:
Configure notification from the back office
Navigate to: Back Office > Setting > Notification Settings > On Dispatch
Once all the required configuration is done then the guest will start receiving notification as soon as the order is dispatched or the driver is assigned to the delivery order.
Optional Configuration:
As we are giving the option to Undo Action on completed and dispatched the order. In such cases, guests can be notified again if the below option is configured for that outlet.
