When a guest fails to arrive on the intended arrival date and has not canceled the booking, then the hotelier may apply “No Show” to that booking. In case of Booking.com bookings, when hoteliers mark these bookings as “No Show” from eZee Absolute PMS, then it reflects on the Booking.com channel also.
Currently this option works as default. But, now we have made this feature optional for hoteliers whether they want to send no-show to booking.com or not by adding a new setting in the Absolute configuration panel.
Setting Name : “NoShow To OTA”
Setting Location : Absolute configuration >> General >> Display Setting
See the screenshot below for the setting
When a hotelier marks Booking.com booking as “No Show ” from eZee Absolute and at that time if this setting is on for this channel, only then; the “No Show” will be reflected to the channel and if it is off then “No Show” will not be reflected to the channel.
Audit trail is also maintained for this setting. See the screenshot below for the same.
Points To be Noted :
- This setting is available only for the ABS + channel account
- This setting is available only if Booking.com is connected to the property.
- This setting will not work for manual option in edit transaction – “Mark No Show On OTA”.
- This setting is ON for All property by default.
