Different regions in the world require properties to have a license to sell their inventory. Therefore, Booking.com requires properties to share license information to remain open and bookable on Booking.com.
What is the Licenses API?
The main purpose of the License API is to send properties license information to Booking.com. However, as a Connectivity Partner, we can also verify whether license information is already available on Booking.com or not.
What can you do with the Licences API?
The Licences API enables you to find out whether your property needs to fulfill regional license requirements on the property or room level. Using this API we will be able to:
- Retrieve license requirements for a property.
- Set up and send license information at property level or room type level for a property.
- Retrieve license information at property level or room type level for a property.
Now hoteliers can manage the license information from our Rise panel. You can see the option in the below location.
Location : New Extranet [Rise] -> Setting -> “BOOKING.COM LICENCE” tab
Once the required information is filled and saved, all your information will be sent to Booking.com as part of the license process.
