The rapid serve application is the lightweight POS application used by our client to perform quick ordering action. It contains all the basic level of order operation primarily used by a waiter for taking an order.
Now we have added some more extra features in the Rapid Serve application to enhance the overall user experience.
So what’s new in this Rapid Serve:-
1. Improved User Experience
In this beta release, we have changed the rapid serve UI to match our eZee Optimus application through which the user will feel that they are using the same ecosystem of eZee Optimus.
2. Enhancements in:
a.Settlement
- In the settlement, we have improved the UI/UX and added a multi-currency settlement where users will be able to settle the order with all the configured currency.
b.Item Information and Operations
- In this beta release, we have updated the item information section with the new UI/UX for making it more interactive.
- We have also introduced the bulk item operation in the ordering section for making the ordering process much faster.
c.Dashboard
- In the dashboard section, we have added a new section for the payment summary which will display the total amount of payment taken by all the payment types.
- The payment summary section will be an interactive section where clicking on the payment type it will show the total amount of payment bifurcated by the payment method of the payment type.
d. Void reason/remark on the void operations
- In this release, we have added functionality where the user can add a new void reason/remark if the following list does not meet the expectation.
e.Searchable Selection
- Making life easier for our users by implementing the searchable selection throughout the application by which now our users will be able to search a long list of details very easily.
3. Extended Offline Capabilities
In this beta release, now the users will be able to perform all the order operations offline more effectively and efficiently as we have improved the overall offline storage of the rapid serve application.
4. Enhanced Data Synchronization
In this beta release, we have improved the data synchronization by making it more reliable and faster by which the user application will always be updated with the latest order details.
With great features comes great performance which we have tried to obtain in this release where the user will be able to perform all the order operations fast and smoothly.
Note: This is the beta release of the rapid serve which means that if a user is enrolled in the beta program of our application will be able to get this update of the rapid serve. Once this update is stable then we will release it for all our customers in both android and iOS.
Below are the steps on how to enroll yourself in the beta program.
1. Search Rapid Serve application in play store in there below you will find information about the beta program as shown in the image below.
2. Now click on the join to enter into the beta program.
3. On joining the beta program you will receive an update for the app where we have introduced all these new features and enhancements.
