Booking.com has added one change related to guest counts in reservation API. Now they will send more detailed information of guest counts with reservations which includes room-wise no. of guests, no. of adults / children and age..
In Booking.com, guests under the age of 18 will be considered as children, regardless of the property’s children policy. The policy can be used to define different pricing for the children, but it will not affect the guest’s age category in the reservation message.
