Small enhancements can also make a great difference and help to create effective customer experience too.
Previously when Hoteliers want to take a Reservation for 3 rooms Whereas in actual only 2 Rooms available under that category they select Room category followed by Rate type, Rates and add Guest details. And after adding all this Hotelier realize and get a notification as Inventory is not available.
Thus, in order to smoothen this experience, Now we have added the available inventory count in “Room type” dropdown on Quick/Add Reservation screens so that while taking a reservation and choosing the room category Hotelier will get a clear idea as to how many available rooms they have for selected dates for selected roomtype. Indeed this will help Hoteliers to instantly get an idea about their room availability for selected dates so can choose and sell room categories accordingly.
Below is the screenshot of how Available Room count will appear on both Quick and Add reservation screens.
In near future we are going to add this Available Room count on various other screens such as Assign Room,Room move & Exchange Room so that Hotel User can get a clear idea about the availability of room categories while doing such operations.
