Till now, we were restricted to reinstate the booking which was cancelled or no-showed on the current date and if a room for that booking is not available.
However, with this enhancement, a user can activate current date cancel and no-show bookings even if room of booking taken is not available. This can be useful especially when the cancel and no-show is performed by mistake or for one or other reason and the hotelier wants to undo those bookings and shift to another room. With this feature, you’ll also be able to activate existing transactions and move those bookings to new booking stay dates, new room type, and room.
You can activate booking from the reservation list and quick search. Find the screenshot below for reference:
Once you activate booking, it will be reinstated and you will be able to find the information in the audit trail.
