Recently one of our resellers reported a case in which he faced booking mismatch in a reconciliation report generated by our system and submitted to GHA. After our reconciliation report was generated, some hoteliers performed void / no-show / cancel bookings whose checkout dates had already passed. Since hoteliers did not take timely action on void / no-show / cancel bookings, the system is creating a mismatch issue between Google report and our reconciliation report.
To overcome this problem, we are going to release one setting “Enable GHA Booking Void / Cancel Buffer” which helps us put some restrictions on GHA (Google Hotel Ads) bookings. This will allow hoteliers to cancel/void GHA bookings active in the current month until the 3rd day of next month. For eg: if you have a GHA booking with stay dates between 1st-Jan-2021 to 31-Jan-2021, the system will allow the hotelier to cancel/void these GHA bookings until 3rd-Feb-2020.
