Optimus is a cloud-based POS solution used by our customers across the globe.
Firstly the Optimus was only available on the web which provides all the POS functionality on the fingertip but now we made the same solution available on all the platform like:
- Android
- iOS
- Windows
- Mac
By doing this we have created an ecosystem where users can utilize the solution over any platform easily and effectively. But as the web was the first platform where the solution was available this makes the user experience different from the new updated Optimus application.
For solving this we have introduced a new updated UI for Optimus web.
So what’s in the new UI?
- Improved User experience.
- We have updated the web UI to match our Optimus application so the user will feel that they are using the same ecosystem of eZee Optimus.
- Enhanced performance.
- We have improved the overall performance of the web application which is fruitful to perform ordering operations quickly during peak hours.
- Progressive web application.
- The newly updated Optimus web is a progressive web application which means the user will be able to install and use the Optimus web as an application on any platform directly from the browser.
Still, confused regarding the progressive web application?
Let me explain how it works:-
- First login to the Optimus web.
- At the top on the right side of the URL you will find the add button.
Click the add button to install the application.
- After the installation is done a shortcut of the web application will be added to your device home screen from where you can access the Optimus web as an application.
Note:
- This installation will be only available if the Optimus web is accessed using google chrome browser.
- As of now, the new updated UI is available for the internal property and soon it will be available for all the property.
